'Shifting attitudes towards bowel cancer - getting people moving'

This project aimed to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of mouth and bowel cancer in order to promote earlier detection. The target group was men and women aged over 50, focusing on those living in areas of deprivation. High profile TV and radio advertising was used to get the messages across.

Judge's Comment: This project displays strong planning and implementation together with a sound evaluation strategy. The project also demonstrates a strong market research element and a creative promotional programme. Most importantly, the project can also demonstrate measurable impact across a range of indicators.
