Welcome

The Association of Healthcare Communicators (AHC) is the primary independent network for healthcare communications professionals working in, or mainly with, the NHS.

We are a dynamic and growing organisation, committed to promoting professional, proactive communications. We are here to represent our members and provide a recognised 'voice' for the many communications staff throughout the UK, by raising key communications issues at a national level.

We are also committed to providing professional development opportunities for communications practitioners at all stages of their career so that together we can advance our profession.

The AHC keeps its 400 plus members in touch with what's going on in health communications. It supports their training and development, encourages networking and the sharing of ideas and experience.
