It gives a complete run down of the various types of organisations within the health service, describing their particular responsibilities. It also explains many of the most common NHS acronyms, and is a very valuable resource pack for students and all newcomers to the NHS. In this, the second edition, it reflects recent NHS developments including PCGs, HIMPs and NICE.
